Jelmer Reyntjes

Born (1982) and raised in the North of the Netherlands close to the point where the 3 northern provinces (Drenthe, Groningen and Friesland) come together. As a kid I was fortuned to life at the country site were I would trawl true the meadows, peat bogs, forests, etc. Although the most of the Netherlands is strongly influenced by mankind nature can still flourish and bring admiring to me.

This admiration for nature made me choose a profession that involves protecting just this nature. During my education I came in contact with photography and especially nature photography. Ever since I constantly evolve in and learn about photography and ecology. With my photos I want to show people natures beauty in all it forms and perhaps also all its cruelty.
